What's the reason to use "comerse" instead of "comer"? Take a look at the amount (of food, in this case) and ask yourself these 2 questions:
While "dulces" doesn't refer to any specific amount of sweets, "un alfajor" refers to one complete unit. 🤓In Spanish, we use the reflexive (comerse, beberse, tomarse, fumarse, comprarse, leerse) when speaking of a specific and complete unit. See more examples:
